If you attended our October lecture from Sandra Lefroy, you will be very familiar with the yacht in the above photograph! This is the nineteenth-century ‘The Phoenix’, a boat which has been in Killaloe for most of the last hundred odd years. You can see a photo of the enthralled crowd at the lecture here!
