Jimmy Sage was born in June 1927 in Glenacre, Ballina, Co. Tipperary.
Jimmy was a well known cross-country championship runner and won the Tipperary novice cross-country championship in 1948.
Jimmy passed away in 2007, aged 80 at his home in Glenacre, Ballina.
