Patrick, or Pa as he was known, Carey was born in 1906.
He lived in Lacken, Birdhill and farmed there until he
moved to Carrigeen, Birdhill with his sister Kitty in 1983.
Pa died in 1995 aged 89, only six weeks after his sister Kitty.
